I received some fabulous swaps this year since getting back into Swap-Bot. I wanted to post some of the great things that I found in my mailbox and a few things I sent out:)

2015 ARTIST TRADING CARDS

Here's some of the ATCs I've created this year.

 

 

STAMPED IMAGES MEGA SWAP 

My partner was Annick Challet (aka SwissChallet). The swap required participants to send 15 stamped images on cardstock. Not only did Annick send fabulous images, she took great care in packaging her offering:)

It's fun to get mail from out of the country. Different stamps and airmail labels make even the outside envelope interesting.

The first thing I find in the envelope is a card with a French quote.

Tucked inside the card is a nicely hand-crafted mini-portfolio folder.

Inside the portfolio was a little package wrapped in black tissue paper tied with red and white string.

The tissue contained the 15 stamped images.

The whole package was fun to open and I appreciated all the attention to detail in putting it together:) Thanks Annick!

USE YOUR CRAP ATC 

My partner for this Swapbot group swap was Diane Doleiden (aka edgetorn) and she made me a great mixed media collage ATC. The whole purpose of this group ( The Sisters of Holy Crap ) was to celebrate and create art from the found ephemera (crap) that we all had in our lives. I have boxes full of bits and pieces of "crap" that I use to create random art. Here's what Diane sent to me.
