Summer Invitational '23 at the Lawrence Street Gallery

Happy to announce that one of my new artist books made the cut and will be included in the Lawrence Street Gallery's Summer Invitational Show. The show will be on exhibit July 5-28. There will also be a virtual exhibit where online purchases will be available.

Time is Up

Time Is Up

This work brings attention to the state of the health of the planet. A recently published climate impact study was warning that we are rapidly heading to irreversible tipping points. Using randomly found words from a vintage math book, I touched on some of the areas that would be devastating to lose in our environment.

Profit and Loss

Endangering our fresh water supplies and aquatic life with factory pollution and runoff.

Reduction

Clear cutting trees and loss through development of land for housing and commercial property.

Cancellation

Many species of plants, animals and insects are endangered through loss of
habitat, chemicals and rising climate temperatures
.

Measures of Capacity

Over population taking a toll on resources.

Compound Problems

Pesticides and lack of natural food sources are endangering bee pollinators and
without the pollination, food  production will suffer.
